Martin is the Tax Director and Chief Compliance Officer for DLJ RECP. He joined the firm in 2000 and is based in New York where he specializes in U.S. partnership taxation, tax aspects of cross border investments, and the tax implications of real estate investments on tax-exempt investors. Prior to DLJ RECP, Martin was a Tax Manager for The Peabody Group, a co-venture real estate fund sponsored by J.P. Morgan and J.W. O’Connor, where he was involved in tax structuring and planning. Before that, he was a Manager in the New York real estate tax practice of Ernst & Young, LLP. Martin is a licensed CPA. He received a B.S. in Accounting and Finance from the University at Buffalo and an M.S. in taxation from Pace University.
